Hi Everyone...

Sorry it has been so long since I posted. I haven't set up to put pictures on with this computer yet. We had a very fun weekend out in Cranbrook. Cam, Curtis, Kris & my dad went on a camping/dirtbiking weekend and I headed out to visit Rae. The kids travelled really well but didn't like to go to sleep. We really enjoyed visiting the campsite above Koocanusa. The girls loved riding Pete's quad and visiting with their friends Kaylee and Alyssa who were camped next door. We are leaving for Manitoba in a couple weeks to attend Kendall's Highschool grad (Way to Go!). Here is a quick link of some photo's I have posted on Facebook. (I hope it works!).

Family Update...

We had our one week checkup and Christian is doing well. He was 7lbs 4oz when we left the hospital and up to 8lbs 2oz a week later. He was 18.9 inches at birth and 19.7 a week later. No wonder he has been sleeping so well!

The girls have already adjusted to having him around and are a big help with diapers and holding him.

Cheddar was becoming very jealous of the time I was spending with the baby and making everyone's life here difficult so we decided to send him to a friend's farm about 45 minutes out of town. We have scheduled a visit during branding on my birthday (April 28 - presents welcome!) to see how life as a barn cat is going.

Cam has been working hard on his "War Room" and it is looking good. I will be happy when that is completed. He has also started playing hockey with a British team about once a week. He still hasn't changed one of Christian's diapers.

Well, it has been almost a week and things are going really well. Christian is fitting easily into our family and the girls have settled down a little bit. I am slowly learning to manage life with a feeding every 3 hours which is quite difficult at times :). Here are some photo's of all the kids when they were born. They look amazingly alike.

Our Boy Is Here!

Christian Deighton Lewis Hart arrived at 4:15pm this afternoon. He came in at 7 lbs 12 oz., and 18.9 inches. Kandy and baby are doing great - everything went quite smoothly - Praise the Lord!

Christian is eating & pooping well, we just need him to sleep now! Here's a photo of me with Christian before he's an hour old.

We're Home!

We were able to come home from the hospital this morning. Christian has been doing really well - lots of sleeping and eating. Kylie and Kennedy are happy to have their brother home and didn't really miss Mom thanks to Gramma. Here are a few photos to keep you up to date. Just click on them to see a better version.

Baby Update...

We had another appointment this week and it looks like the baby is growing and doing well. The doctor said that it is likely I will have the baby early so we are getting prepared already. Mom and Dad leave on their holiday to the Dominican Republice on the 7th of March and don't return until the 23rd, so they may have a surprise when they come back!

Kylie and Kennedy are doing really well. Kylie is doing K-1 workbooks and has started to pick up an interest in learning to read. We are planning to start homeschooling her this September and see how she does. She is always drawing pictures and is doing really well at looking at one picture and re-creating it herself. Kennedy has just started drawing people this last week. They usually have a circle for a head with hair, two legs and some circles for feet. It is so much fun to watch them learn and grow.

Cam worked very hard this weekend at the Medicine Hat Trade show and had a really nice display up that he and the TCI crew worked all week to put together. You can check out his latest website at www.terraceview.ca.

I have my last Epicure party before the baby arrives tonight and then I will take it easy for a little while :)! I am really enjoying this small business and looking forward to being more active in the future. Time to get back to the kids and getting the food ready for tonight. Baby Update - February 1st, 2007

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and all is well. It looks like baby is measuring just right for his age and his heartbeat was really fast - 150 bpm (probably due to the Pepsi I drank on the way to the appointment). I am more healthy with this baby than the other 2. No need to watch my blood pressure or sugar intake which helps me feel ok about craving Kit Kat bars :). The last official due date we were given was April 1st which would go with all the other holiday birthday's in the Hart family - Christmas, Rememberance Day, Groundhog day. We are looking forward to the arrival of our little man but are happy to wait until he is ready. He is appoximately 3.5 lbs and 14 inches long right now.

Last night we celebrated Cam's 31st Birthday at a pasta restaraunt called D'Carlo's. It was a quiet evening with Mom & Dad R., the girls, Curtis, Rob, Melissa, and Rob's mom Pat. Very tasty! Kylie sang "Happy Birthday" to Cam and gave him a big hug. It was a lot of fun and thanks to my parent's and Kendall all the cards Cam recieved for his birthday have been themed around farting! Here's to another good year ahead.

Here are a few pictures of our leaf raking day. The girls ended up watching a video inside while Daddy worked on the bathroom (yes it is almost finished :) ). There were 17 extra large Hero bags of leaves from the front yard alone. Cam and Kennedy finished out back a few days later.

Kylie's 4th Birthday, January 18, 2007 - Ahoy!

Arg! Kylie celebrated her 4th birthday Pirate Style. With a heart and crossbones for her flag we searched for clues that lead us to the hidden treasure (in the bathtub). Of course we had to pin the X on the treasure map and a few scallywags had to walk the plank by the sharks along the way but we eventually found the booty! New Room - December 23, 2006

We decided to give the girls a new bedroom for Christmas this year. We moved the office to the basement and made a day trip to Ikea in Calgary for the furniture. The girls were very excited about their new big girl beds (bunkbeds) and Kylie loved her butterflies. Cam and Curtis worked together to make all the vinyl bugs at Speedpro signs (thanks Ernie!). It is nice to move a lot of the toys out of the living room and have some place for the girls to play on their own.

Christmas Photos 2006

This Christmas we had the pleasure of celebrating 3 different times. Our first gathering was with Rob, Melissa & Ivy. The girls had a blast and Kennedy now sleeps with both Big Shine Bear (from Hozacks) and Little Shine Bear (from Gramma R).

We celebrated Christmas Eve and Day at my parents house with Kris & Rae. The girls were excited as we moved their toddler beds to Mom & Dad's and they have their own room there. Cam and Kris convinced Dad to let us open our gifts Christmas Eve and we had a great time. Thanks for the blender Kris & Rae! Most of these pictures were taken by Kylie who fancies herself as an amature photographer now :)!

Our final celebration took place in January when Cam's parents were able to come and visit. We had a lot of fun relaxing and the girls loved baking with Gramma and playing whistle game with Grampa. I still have to attempt Kylie's favorite recipe - Scuffles.

Kennedy Turns 2! October 27, 2006

We celebrated Kennedy's second birthday at our house. It was a fancy dress up party where the kids could come and wear costumes. We also decorated 2 cakes and 24 cupcake cones with gummy life rafts and Teddy Grahams. As usual, Kennedy liked to be watching the action instead of participating (except when it was time for presents).

Hello again! I know it has been a long time since I last posted. I was able to get a new computer but I have been slow loading all the software I need to post pictures. September included a sewer backup and a great cruise to Mexico with Rob and Melissa. I look forward to putting up some pics soon.

In October we celebrated Kennedy's 2nd birthday which was a lot of fun and had our first ultrasound for baby #3.

November has been busy with craft shows and epicure orders as well as doctor's appointments and another ultrasound. This baby is very active and hard to photograph :). We are very happy to announce that the Hart's are going to be adding a boy to their team! We are very excited and busy preparing our home. Cam has to renovate the basement area where the sewer backup was for his office and we are decorating the girls bedroom (Cam's old office) as their Christmas present. They will get to see it completed (hopefully) on Christmas morning. We have purchased them bunkbeds and are making a trip to Calgary this Sunday to pick up bedding and shelving. We are excited to be having lunch with a friend we haven't seen in a long time and to spending some time together. We just celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary and are looking forward to many more.

Well...It is time to get back to the kids. I look forward to hearing from you soon and will be posting pic's in the near future.

Good Day to everyone. We had a fun morning here with Gramma Hart. The girls have been playing like crazy and loving having her here. We were able to go to the doctor today and hear the baby's heartbeat (It was a quick 160 bpm which is good). We are now getting ready for our departure on Thursday and are looking forward to sharing our pictures when we get back. Have a great week and think of us basking in the 30 degree caribean heat :)!

Hello again! Not much news happening yet. Cam and I are working on our house this weekend in preparation for the Hart's visit and our cruise! We finally put up some pictures and blinds after living here for 14 months. We are flying out of Calgary on Thursday and returning in a week. I am sure the girls will love having Gramma and Grampa all to themselves. Hopefully the rain and wind go away so we can enjoy the rest of our summer.

We are very excited about our doctor's appointment on Tuesday. I will be able to hear the baby for the 1st time! I can't believe it is 13 weeks already. Time to get back to house cleaning and preparations :).

Manitoba Trip 2006 - I was blessed to be able to travel to Manitoba with the girls this July. It was a long 9 hour drive both ways but the kids were great. I had the help of my Mother-in-Law to drive from Yorkton to Swan River and back so that made it a little easier. It was nice to relax in the peaceful country. This was my first visit to Pretty Valley in the summertime. We had a lot of fun playing in the sandbox, riding Grampa's wagon and eating fruit and vegetables from the garden. I gained 5 lbs on fruit and cream after every meal!

Well, we had a fun weekend last week. Hannah and Nathan Dreher came from Brooks to visit with their 3 boys. Cam bought a playhouse at a garage sale for $5 that the kids love. We also found another Garage Free thanks to Rob. We picked up a new baby swing and crib that are both in great condition. We then proceeded to the Hozack's to watch UFC61. It was pretty boring but the company was good and so was the food! I had the best mini-quiche's ever thanks to Melissa. I did another Epicure Party last night which was my first party not knowing anyone! It went well I think. I am getting ready for my trip to Manitoba with the girls in our new van. It is a great blessing. More beach pictures to come. Here is a picture of our van.

GARAGE FREE!

The girls and I had a fun day on Wednesday. First we met Kendra and her Mom for a fun trip to Echo Dale Park. After swimming and building sand castles we headed to McDonald's for lunch. Kendra gave me a really nice card and some Mall Money to spend! We are going to miss her for the summer. After lunch we went to visit Cam at work where the girls get suckers and then proceeded to buy a gift for Uncle Kelly's graduation from Law School! Way to go! We are all very proud of him.

It was Rob's birthday supper at Moxie's that night so we sent the girls to Gramma and Papa's for the evening. Rob was also celebrating becoming an uncle and great uncle on the same day! Our dinner took 2.5 hours from ordering to finish because the restaurant was so slow. At least we had free dessert! On the way to Rob and Melissa's, Cam noticed a huge sign that said "Garage Free." Being garage sale addicts we decided to check out the wares. What a goldmine!

We came home with the following:
- 5 games for kids and adults (ie - Monopoly Junior and Trivial Pursuit Genius Edition)
- a two man tent
- a suitcase
- 2 snow shovels
- assorted toys
- a box of china that matches the pattern I inherited from Gramma Rose Hart (what are the chances?)
- kids racquets
- 2 end tables
- a log lamp (very ugly :) )
- a cordless phone
- a carpet steam cleaner

ALL for FREE!

That is all I can remember for now. Our van was loaded to the hilt!

Speaking of vans, we just purchased a 2002 Caravan yesterday. It is onyx in colour but it looks blue grey in the sun and greenish in the evening. It is really nice! I keep slamming the doors because I am not used to them closing so easily! It is fully loaded except for power sliding doors. I am really excited because I will be able to travel to Manitoba next week with the girls. That should be a fun 9 hour trip :)! I will try to post a picture later. More news to come!

Time for Relaxing!

This last month has been really hectic. I had taken on a couple of really cute little girls for a month but it was a lot more work than I had expected. Alexandra was a fun 4.5 year old girl with Down's Syndrome and her sister Lauren was just under 3. Most days I had 6 kids, 5 in diapers and 4 under 2 years of age. I am definately looking forward to the summer. I am planning a holiday to Manitoba with the girls for a week. I have never seen Pretty Valley in the summer and the girls would love to visit Gramma and Grampa. I have a relaxing summer with only 1 extra child per day throughout July with almost 2 weeks off in total. In August we are expecting Gabby (5) and Graceon (1). They will be part time and we are looking forward to keeping a boy around as Colby will no longer be coming in October (he will be a big brother soon after that).

As for holidays this year Cam will have to wait until September for our cruise. We will be spending 5 days aboard the Canival Funship Ecstasy to Cozumel, Mexico and Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico with Rob and Melissa Hozack. We are looking forward to some time away from the hustle and bustle of our every day lives.

We are blessed to have added a temporary member to our family. On Friday, June 30th we welcomed our new Korean exchange student Kyu Jin Song (Korey) to our home. He speaks English very well and seems to like the kids :).
